New Jersey Gun Law Info

New Jersey Gun Laws Bias against Law Abiding Citizens N.J. Gun Laws are antiquated and only punish law abiding citizens. First you apply and have to wait at least 3 months before you get approved. Then you can only buy (1) handgun within a 30 day period. If you buy a car, clothes, groceries or set of kitchen knifes (which can also be considered weapons if used improperly) you pay for them and walk out the door, What makes them any different from legally purchasing a firearm and taking it with you the same day? Where is the logic? Criminals do not apply for gun permits because they know and don't want to get caught because the gun can be traced. Another fallacy initiated by the government and Prosecutors is the “Gun Buy Back Programs”. First and foremost: How can you buy back something that you never sold? Second: Where can you go and buy Brand Named Rifles, Shot Guns and hand guns which sell for far more than the ridiculous price of $150-200.00 offered by these absurd buy back programs? Third: These idiotic programs target only law abiding citizens who are unfamiliar with the draconian gun laws of this backwards State relevant to gun possession and who see a way to get a quick buck because they wish to remain law compliant. Fourth and final : Criminals don’t turn in their guns ,!!! BECAUSE THEY NEED THEM FOR WORK!!!!! The stupid ass law makers in this state and country have it all backwards. Where the guns are coming from and are illegally purchased are on the black market. It's just like during prohibition. When you tell people that they cannot have something that they want, you are going to have a proliferation of illegal gun dealers providing what's prohibited. Targeting and punishing honest law abiding citizens to get at criminals is a blatant violation of the U.S Constitution which protect the Civil Rights of all law abiding citizens. New Jersey is one of the biggest violators. If you think N.J Gun Laws work, just do the math look at the crime and Murder rates in Newark, Jersey City, Camden, Paterson, Trenton (State Capitol no less) etc, Get the point? Read or listen to the news or papers.
